Why is the price not on this page?
Because it depends on the port, the day, and the carrier. A single number here would be wrong for the next shipment.

Charges
These are not a surprise menu of automatic fees. They apply when the service is used.
Your quote lists the accessorials we already know about, such as a residence or a liftgate. Others appear only if they happen, such as detention because a driver waited, or demurrage because a container stayed at the terminal. Ask for the amount on your lane before you book. This page explains the words.
The booking confirmation names the cutoff, the equipment, and the charges. Transit times and sample rates on this site are explanations, not that confirmation. Operations records a milestone only after the cargo or the document has actually moved.
A quote is not a booking. The booking starts when you accept the rate, the cutoff, and the document list in writing.
A chassis is the frame a container sits on for a road move, charged by time. Detention is time a container or a driver is held at the customer beyond free time. Demurrage is time a container stays at the terminal beyond free time. Storage is warehouse or terminal rent after free time.
Residential, school, construction, and other limited-access sites take longer and are priced when we know the address. A liftgate lowers freight to the ground where there is no dock. Inside delivery and a guaranteed appointment are separate and must be on the quote.
Amending a bill of lading after cutoff is a documentation charge when the carrier assesses one. A customs exam can add terminal handling. Those amounts are passed through with the backup we receive.
Amounts are on your quote or on the invoice for the event. They are not printed here as a universal price.

Yes. Use the invoice questions page and include the invoice and the tracking number.
If a fuel adjustment applies, the quote says so. It is not hidden inside a tracking update.
A firm rate, a booking, and a tracking number come from operations. This page explains the service. It is not a live tariff.
