Sample lane rates

Markets move with the week, the equipment, and the weight. The table shows the kind of transit shippers ask about and what usually changes the money. It is not an offer. Request a quote for the cargo you have.

The booking confirmation names the cutoff, the equipment, and the charges. Transit times and sample rates on this site are explanations, not that confirmation. Operations records a milestone only after the cargo or the document has actually moved.

Nothing in this table is a rate offer or a guaranteed transit time.

What to send for a written rate

  • City or port of origin, and city or port of destination
  • Mode: ocean, air, or truck, if you already know it
  • Pieces, weight, and dimensions
  • What the goods are, in plain language
  • The date the freight is ready
  • Hazardous, oversized, or temperature-controlled, if any of those apply

A quote is not a booking. The booking starts when you accept the rate, the cutoff, and the document list in writing.

How an ocean rate is built

A full-container rate usually covers the ocean carriage named on the quote. It may exclude origin terminal handling, destination terminal handling, chassis, inland truck, duty, and a peak-season adjustment. The quote draws that line in writing.

How an air rate is built

Air is priced per chargeable kilo, with a minimum. Fuel and security extras are either inside the rate or listed beside it. Screening and a pickup are included only when the quote says so.

What changes the number

A later ready date, a heavier piece, a residence, a hazardous declaration, or a holiday can all change a rate that was right last week.

Planning examples, not offers

Transit windows are typical, not promised. Prices are intentionally omitted so this page cannot be mistaken for a live tariff.

Questions

Why are there no dollar amounts?

A published dollar figure goes stale and looks like a promise. The quote is the figure you can book.

Are these lanes a promise?

No. They are planning examples. Your transit window is the one written on the quote.

Can you hold a rate?

For the period written on the quote. After that, ask us to refresh it.
